The Thrill is Alive and Kicking! : 6:08 p.m. : November 21, 2003

OK, I'm slacking off on writing, but that's ok. I have a new brainchild. It should be fun.

On the bright side, I got an amazingly good grade on my English paper: 47/50!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH. And this was after she gave this whole speech to our class about how brutally she graded and how she was a little disappointed with the class. And then I got an awesome grade!!! I love English class. I think I'm going to take AP English next year, because the more AP classes I take, the better. And I really love the teacher and I love writing. So it oculd be fun as well as challenging.

Gotta find some way to get a couple of new sketchbooks - running out of space in my old one for school. I want a new one for school and a new one for my own drawings. That should be fun, if I can find one. I want one of those thick black books that has just blank paper inside for myself. And I want a sort of spiral-top one for school. I'm really starting to enjoy art. We're working on enlarging images, and I have this really cool one. It's an illustration on a Magic card, called Ancestral Mask or something like that. It's amazing. I'll see if I can find a picture online or something.

I have a cute new friend. *sigh* I had a nice, sort of fluff conversation with him in P.E. (He's older) and he was nice and all that and cute and...(I am acting like a ditz, please excuse me, I am not always like this) and when he left so I could change, Jenny came up and totally ruined my moment by asking all sorts of random stupid questions and *almost* but not quite ruined it for me. Gah. *Deep sigh.* Oy. The joys of teenagedom.

I had a doctor's appointment today. And the verdict is....(drumroll please) I'm healthy! I have sleepy knees, though. That means that when my doctor tapped my knee with the reflex hammer thing, my leg barely moved and she had to do a different thingto test my reflexes. I'm fine, though. I really like my doctor. She's definitely awesome, plus we go to the same gym. Haha!

I'm really lucky, because I like all of my teachers. Well, actually, there's one that I like as a person but not as a teacher because I hate his teaching style. But all my teachers are really cool people. Even my dorky math teacher is nice. I'm really really really x100 lucky to have such awesome teachers.

Does anyone out there know of a good image hosting site that will just host your images but NOT give you a website? For example, something like Village Photos. The only problem with Village Photos is that it makes my images incredibly blurry and I need a new way to upload and put images on this diary. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anyone out there knows a good site, tell me. I desperately need an image hosting site.

Mmmm. I think we're having chicken for dinner. Mmmmm. Yum.

I really want to go play Mah-Johng, or maybe Rollercoaster Tycoon right now. I have an URGE.....MUAHAHHAHAHA. Heh. Heh.

Spent an hour in P.E. playing Disc Golf. That was fun...NOT. Actually, it wasn't that bad. I like my P.E. teacher. And disc golf isn't as active as some other things. I miss badminton though. I loved badminton, esecially with my friend Kelsey, because she LOVES badminton and is therefore very very very x100 good at it. I think we only lost once when we were on a team together, and I think that one was because we were laughing so hard. Heheh.

I have an urge to draw. Oh, and go look for those Magic cards online. Toodle-oo.

Oh, wait! I forgot! The program I'm in at school is doing a project about music, and each class (there are 4) is going to perform a few songs - 2 classes have gospel, and 2 classes have blues. I'm in blues, and I get to sing "The Thrill is Gone" by B.B. King. I get to be the soloist!!! I'm so excited! And the rest of the class is doing awesome backup stuff and it sounds amazing. I mean, it would be if I could REMEMBER THE FLIPPING WORDS. Argh. *thwacks self* Anyway, this is my first real opportunity to perform as a singer (well, and student really. It's the thought that counts) and not as an actress or anything. I love this. Wow.

London - Thailand
