| I feel kind of strange because I haven't updated in the past few days, but it's been kind of busy, and when it hasn't been busy, I haven't wanted to do anything except sleep or read. So. Since....wow, last Thursday: *I saw my aunt's engagement ring, which is this gigantic diamond on a platinum band - I swear, if anyone in this world deserves a wonderful marriage and kids and all that, it is her. *The same aunt as mentioned above, who is a organizing maven, came over on Sunday morning and helped me start organizing my room. We haven't even gotten a quarter of the room done yet, so she is going to come over again. But it looks cleaner, and as soon as I put my laundry away I will be able to walk around my room without worrying about tripping over something. Actually, the above statement would be true, if I weren't a klutz. I am such a klutz that I will probably find something to trip over, even if there isn't anything TO trip over. Hehe. I am a silly person. *I found out my parents are going to go see John Cleese go perform LIVE, and they won't take me because it is one of their "go-out-just-the-two-of-us-and-leave-the-daughters-to-sit-and-slowly-mold-at-home" things. I am extremely jealous. *I went to see RotK again, with Carrie this time, which was incredibly fun because she didn't seem to mind that I was talking to her. I like it when I have seen a movie at least once, and then I go with someone who likes to talk during movies, and we can discuss it and make jokes and stuff during the actual movie. For example, during the "diversion" battle, right when the Eye is calling Aragorn's name, and right before he goes "For Frodo," and charges, there is a shot of Legolas. And Carrie leans over and whispers in my ear, "He [Legolas] has pretty braids. I'd invite him to my sleepover." And it just CRACKED ME UP. Oh my GOD. It was great. Another time was when Gwaihir and the eagles are picking up Sam and Frodo from the rock on Mount Doom, and Carrie whispers, "Slippery little f***ers." Hehe. Love the lovely Carrie. And a bunch more stuff has (probably) happened, but I really can't remember right now. Anyway, I am starting to get ready for this weekend. I'm going with my photography teacher from this summer along with two other girls to Tahoe to take pictures and stuff. We're going on the train, which should be fun. I'm very excited - I love photography. As soon as the days start to get longer (so there's more daylight), I'm going to start my top secret photo project. hahaahha. You'll never get it out of me. HAHAH. Kelsey has missed the past three days of school because she broke three toes, and then someone stepped on those three toes and she can't walk. And people keep suggesting crutches, but she hasn't gotten them yet, and I don't think she really wants to because people with crutches always attract a lot of attention, and she hates being the center of attention. I don't blame her. I wouldn't want to either. It is SO FUNNY the way she broke her toes: she was talking to Chelsea (another friend of ours) on the phone, and she got the news that Rupert, one of her favorite characters on Survivor, would be coming back for the next season. She was jumping joyously when she tripped over her mother's hope chet, stubbing her toes incredibly hard and thereby breaking them. Sheesh. Must run, as am getting sleepy. Toodle-oo. This stuff here is mine, unless otherwise stated. That's why it has my name on it. Thank you. |
